There is nothing more comforting than a glass of velvety smooth Chocolate Pudding. Come on, who’s with me?
You’re not? Oh, I get it. You think my chocolate mousse is better. 😛 That’s okay. I do too. BUT… every now and then, I like to get my pans dirty and make a glass of intense chocolate pudding. And while some may think puddings are not the “in-thing” anymore, I never say no to the good ol’ classics!
This Eggless Chocolate Pudding gets it’s intense chocolatey flavor from using good quality dark chocolate as well as unsweetened cocoa powder. The smooth texture is as a result of using cornstarch for “thickening” the cream and the agar agar is for setting the pudding. You can easily make this with low fat milk – but HELLO! Do not go easy on the heavy cream! 😉 (more…)
