Phew. I’m literally sweating just reviewing the pictures! 😉

It took a lot of time & work to make these deep fried goodies.

But… I’m glad I had a “taste” (no pun intended) of what my mother has to do during every festival to keep us happy with an assortment of snacks! It isn’t easy. But at the end of the day, you’re left with these crispy and gorgeous looking “Thattai” 🙂 (more…)

Instant Rabdi | Rabri

Disclaimer: This is NOT the authentic version of a Rabri (rabdi). Rabri a sweet dish that is prepared by reducing milk. It takes quite a while to do that and tastes delicious. But thanks to the invention of Microwave, we get to make it whenever we want in under 10 minutes (provided we have everything on hand). And to get a dessert in 10 minutes, in my opinion, is nothing short of a miracle! 😛 (more…)
