Greek Salad is a summer salad of the (obviously) Greek cuisine. Endive lettuce, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, kiwi, black olives and tomatoes – sprinkled generously with Olive oil. My Greek salad was colorful and delectable! And the whole thing took hardly a few minutes to make! (more…)

Mint Basil Pesto

What chutney is to India is what Pesto is to Italy! 🙂 A thick sauce pounded with the traditional mortar and pestle and works well for pastas, pizzas, as a dip, sauce anything!

Because pesto is a generic term for anything that is made by pounding, there are various other pestos, some traditional, some modern. For this reason, the original (and most common) pesto is now called pesto alla genovese or pesto genovese (both forms are used in both English and Italian) (more…)

Microwave Chocolate Cake

There are  times when I just crave for a piece of chocolate cake. Especially at night. Not healthy, I know. But what can you do? 😀 And with the discovery of this quick fix, all my chocolate woes are now put to rest! A soft, fluffy cake that “bakes” in a few minutes! Although microwaving doesn’t give the crust that a proper oven would, this is delicious! 😉 (more…)
