As for me? I enjoy food. I relish every bite. I put all my senses into the food while I’m eating (which by the way – is the correct way of eating). As a result – I find that food is so much more interesting and tasty! Normal people have hobbies like biking or knitting or painting. My hobby is noticing every texture, every flavor in the food and loving the food I eat! ;)

    • Hi Lesly! The yeast might not have bubbled because of one / all of the following reasons –
      1. Your yeast has expired. Make sure you always check the package to use yeast that is as fresh as possible
      2. Your water temperature is not correct. If the water is too hot, it might kill the yeast and if it is too cool, the yeast might not activate. Usually about 110F is good enough. (Check out this detailed post on how to proof the yeast – http://foodomania.com/how-to-proof-yeast/)
      3. Finally, do check if what you have is Instant Yeast or Dry Yeast. If it is instant yeast, chances are it won’t bubble up. You can just directly use it.

      Hope this helps! :)

  1. Made these today for three 6 year olds – they ate dough balls with nutella at Pizza Express last night and wanted the exact same thing. They came out beautifully! I left out the garlic glaze and instead served the little beauties dusted with icing sugar and a side of nutella for dipping.

    Great recipe, thanks for sharing!

  2. I found your web website yesterday morning and made the Garlic Dough Balls, they are FAB. What a great site, I can’t stop reading it. Thank you
