Aquafaba Chocolate Mousse

  • 1/2 cup cold Aquafaba liquid
  • 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar
  • 1 cup Vegan Milk Chocolate
  • Powdered sugar – if required


  • To aquafaba liquid, add the cream of tartar
  • Whip until you have stiff peaks
  • Microwave until the chocolate is fully melted
  • Let the chocolate cool a bit
  • Add the whipped aquafaba to the chocolate
  • Gently fold in the aquafaba into the chocolate
  • Pour into serving glasses
  • Cover with aluminum foil
  • Freeze until set (around 4-5 hours)
  • Serve!


If you’re using dark chocolate, you will need to sweeten the mixture. Add powdered sugar (as required) and whip the aquafaba before folding into the chocolate mixture
