Cinnamon Hot Chocolate

There are no rules here. You need milk, cinnamon & chocolate. That’s it. And if you want, then sugar, marshmallows, whipped cream etc. But I’m sharing a quick post on this spiced hot chocolate which is definitely better than regular hot chocolate. And forgive me for the mediocre photos! I was in such a hurry like you wouldn’t believe! I put together the whole post (right from making to pre-posting) in 10 minutes!

Prep Time: nil
Cook Time: 3-5 min
Serves: 1

1 cup milk
2 Tbsp chopped chocolate
1 inch cinnamon stick
Optional –
1 tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
whipped cream / marshmallows

1. Add the cinnamon stick to the milk and slowly bring it to boil.

2. Add in the chocolate. (add how much ever you want).

3. With a whisk, beat continuously to get frothy milk and until chocolate dissolves. Taste it. If you like it to be more sweet, add 1 tsp sugar. You can also add vanilla for flavor.

4. Filter out the milk mixture (to get rid of cinnamon) and serve with biscuits!

Delicious Cinnamon Hot Chocolate! You can add some whipped cream or marshmallows on top & serve too. The distinct smell and flavor of cinnamon cuts the excessive sweetness of the chocolate. And it is just perfect for any cold winter day!
