Hershey’s Kisses Cookies
These simple Hershey’s Kisses Cookies are cute little sweet treats for any occasion.
Taking the concept from the basic thumbprint cookies, I stuffed a Hershey’s Kiss in the impression instead of Jam or something else. I didn’t expect it to work – honestly. I thought that the chocolate would melt while baking and become a mess. But to my delight, these cookies came out of the oven – smelling divine AND retaining their shapes.
The secret is to freeze the Hershey’s Kisses ahead of time. That way, they wouldn’t disintegrate and melt while baking. Moreover, when you remove the baking sheet out of the oven, have patience. Do not remove the cookies immediately. Give the Hershey’s Kisses a chance to set into the cookie impression. And when the cookies have cooled completely, you will have an amazing combination of Hershey’s Kisses and Vanilla Cookies.

- 1/8 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

- Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla extract for 2 minutes to form a creamy mixture

- Bake at 180 C for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are cooked through.
- Let them cool completely. If you try to eat them warm, the Hershey’s kisses will melt and become a mess. Let the chocolate set into the cookie.
